Taiwanese firm Getac, in partnership with UAE-based Miltec Rugged Computing, is gearing up to showcase its AI-capable rugged computing systems for military operations at the World Defense Show (WDS) in Saudi Arabia.
Designed to run AI workloads at the edge, the systems let operators process mission data locally, supporting faster decision-making, improved situational awareness, and reduced reliance on distant command systems when communications are degraded.
The company will present a range of rugged laptops and tablets, including the B360, V120, and F120.
The platforms are built for deployment in demanding military environments, capable of operating under shock, vibration, dust, moisture, and extreme temperatures.

At the event, Getac will also demonstrate air-to-ground connectivity, supporting ground control systems and real-time data exchange with airborne platforms and avionics.
World Defense Show 2026, organized by Saudi Arabia’s General Authority for Military Industries, will take place in Riyadh and is expected to host more than 700 exhibitors from over 70 countries, alongside military delegations and live air and land demonstrations.
“Our participation … highlights Getac’s deep commitment to supporting the region’s strategic defense modernization and digital transformation goals,” said Jerry Huang, Vice President at Getac.
He added that by combining their knowledge with the local expertise of Miltec Rugged Computing, the companies aim to address the Middle East’s strategic defense modernization and digital transformation goals.
