The NATO Communications and Information Agency has selected Anduril Industries to demonstrate its AI-powered Lattice software in a nine-month evaluation aimed at reshaping how allied forces manage air command-and-control data.

During the trial, the company will integrate Lattice into NATO’s environment to connect functions including air traffic control, surveillance, and force management.

The goal is to assess whether the platform can support the alliance’s Enhanced Air Command and Control (eAirC2) Data Platform initiative.

The eAirC2 program is part of NATO’s push toward a modular, data-centric architecture that allows member nations to securely share operational information while retaining sovereignty over their own data.

Connecting NATO Air Systems

Built with an open architecture, Lattice is designed to connect existing military systems rather than replace them, allowing data to be synchronized and shared across allied networks. 

The AI platform helps create a common operational picture by processing and distributing information across connected systems, even in environments where communications may be disrupted or degraded.

The contract marks Anduril’s first engagement with NATO and expands the company’s role in the alliance’s efforts to modernize air command-and-control capabilities.
