Defense tech firm SNC has tapped AI developer Seekr to embed explainable artificial intelligence into multi-domain mission systems, aiming to deliver faster and more transparent battlefield decision-making.
Seekr’s AI platform, SeekrFlow, is expected to provide real-time decision support for SNC’s defense platforms, with the initial integration focused on intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) and command-and-control (C2) missions for aircrews.
According to the companies, the first capabilities will help aircrews develop courses of action, prioritize threats, and align responses with established tactics, techniques, and procedures using real-time operational data.
Beyond the initial rollout, SNC and Seekr plan to expand the technology into aerial defense, including counter-drone operations.
The tools are intended to improve target detection, tracking, and engagement across distributed and contested environments.
“Seekr and SNC are focused on delivering AI that operates where missions happen by providing real-time, explainable decision advantage directly within operational systems,” said Seekr chief executive Pat Condo.
“The goal is straightforward: give operators the best advantage, at the speed they need it with mission-critical accuracy.”
Explainable AI at the Tactical Edge
SeekrFlow is designed to securely ingest data, train mission-specific models, orchestrate AI agents, and provide built-in observability, governance, and data provenance.
It is built to operate in classified, disconnected, and resource-constrained environments, enabling explainable AI for mission-critical operations.
The companies added that the technology will also support SNC’s TRAX C2 platform, which connects more than one million systems.
