Romanian defense AI firm ZETTA is integrating its secure text analytics capabilities into Veritone’s aiWARE platform, with deployment inside the US military’s security-hardened Iron Bank environment.

Veritone positions aiWARE as an operating system that orchestrates models, data, and workflows across government environments, supporting the operational use of AI within secure, modular architectures.

At the core of the integration is ZETTA Engines, which applies natural language processing to extract entities, detect sentiment, and classify information from large volumes of unstructured data.

Beyond text, the platform incorporates speech recognition, machine translation, and optical character recognition, enabling cross-language analysis of audio, documents, and digital media within a unified processing pipeline.

The system reportedly produces deterministic, schema-driven outputs that standardize how intelligence data is structured and shared across workflows.

Designed for on-premise deployment, it prioritizes data sovereignty, allowing agencies to process sensitive intelligence within controlled environments.

Role Within aiWARE

Within aiWARE, the system operates as a modular component in broader AI pipelines, leveraging low-code orchestration, system-level integration, and scalable processing to support real-time intelligence workflows.

“The Department of War’s strategy underscores the importance of deploying AI in ways that are secure, flexible, and operationally viable,” said Ryan Steelberg, President and Chief Executive Officer of Veritone.

“aiWARE is already entrusted by federal agencies to transform large volumes of unstructured data into actionable intelligence.”
